| The Cellar Saver is attached to the vertical flow-pipe by an eleven inch tie-wrap that comes with the unit and then wired to a 24 hour zone on a monitored alarm system. The best place to mount the Cellar Saver is about even with the drain tile. If the sump pump should fail, the rising water captures air in the inverted cup at the lower end of the swing arm. (see above). The swing arm then pivots on the center pin and rotates the magnet end away from the attached contact creating an alarm condition. |
