By far not the prettiest picture in the world, but a snapshot of a flooded basement is much worse. Pictured, strapped to the flow pipe, is our old standard CS-2029-W. For the last 15 years, the design of the Cellar Savers has made some significant changes. Dealers have seen a transition from triple-dipped Rustoleum on the magnets to magnets that are completely sealed in plastic. Our latest improvements is supplying contacts that have three-foot leads. That allows for the electrical connections to be outside the well, rather than inside with the moisture. You make suggestions, we listen! It's our goal to be the best! Our newest model the CS-1429, was developed to be maintenance free and much easier to test. The biggest concern was having to clean the Cellar Saver after a pump failure. Not so with the CS-1429. It's totally enclosed and sealed. All moving parts are away from dirt and mineral deposits. It was designed to be used in a more harsh environment i.e. sewer water and in sump wells that contain ground water with high mineral content. Dealers have found them to be an excellent choice in sump wells that are sealed because of Radon gas.
