LIMITED WARRANTY 

     CELLAR SAVER, INC. ,84 Heath Terrace, Buffalo, NY and its distributors (sellers) warrant that CELLAR SAVER Models CS-29, CS-2029-W, CS-1829-C/O, CS-1429 and CS-1729 to be in conformance with its own plans and specifications and to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. 

     Sellers obligations during the period of warranty shall be limited to replacing or at its option, repairing a Cellar Saver which is proved to be not in conformance with the Sellers plans and specifications or which is proven to contain defective workmanship or contains defective material. This limited warranty shall be void and sellers have no obligation whatsoever, if the Cellar Saver is damaged, altered or improperly installed or it is repaired by someone other than the manufacturer or its authorized agents, notwithstanding any actual defect in the product. 

     SELLERS MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE CELLAR SAVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SELLERS MAKE NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SELLERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHICH IS CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE CELLAR SAVER.

     Sellers represent that this product is intended to work in conjunction with a 24 hour audible zone on a MONITORED alarm system and shall be TESTED AT LEAST THREE (3) TIMES A YEARE.  Sellers do not represent that it will prevent basement flooding or serve as a substitute for a sump pump. Its effectiveness as a warning device is limited by the user's availability to respond to an alarm or notification by the central station receiving the alarm through a properly installed, maintained and operational alarm system. 

     Cellar Saver must be installed by a CERTIFIED alarm installer employed by a LICENSED alarm company. Installer must instruct the home owner on how to test the unit before finalizing the installation. A test report must be sent to the central station and a record of the test kept for warranty claims. A tri-yearly test report from central station must also be on file.
